Two people were injured in a traffic accident on the N379 at the end of the afternoon. They were taken to hospital by ambulance, but the seriousness of the injuries is unknown.
Two cars collided on the provincial road near Valthermond, at the intersection of the Drentse Mondenweg (N379) with the Dreef. One of the cars ended up in the ditch, the other remained battered on the road.
