Bridget Maasland finds it very strange that Eva Jinek has brought out ‘two different stories’ about what happened at the party after her season finale. “That’s not handy.”

Eva Jinek ruthlessly got the men of Today Inside over her. The reason? Their editor Sam van Royen, the son of Heleen van Royen, has told the presenter. The talk show host is said to have danced on VI’s grave at the party after her season finale, but she is very vague about that.

Did Eve lie?

During the candle riot, Eva suggested an advertising boycott of VI. According to critics, she pre-sorted for a VI exit to save her collapsed ratings. When that exit was a fact, she is said to have shouted: “You are the best team I have ever worked with, you did a fantastic job, we even got Today Inside off the pipe!”

Where Eva in the talk show Beau denied everything and suggested that Sam lied, according to Johan she said the following during their telephone conversation: “Yes, we had an afterparty, I had a drink and then I get a little screaming. (…) If I said that, I can’t remember, it was meant as a joke.”

‘This is not convenient’

It is strange that Eva comes up with two versions of the story, says Rob Goossens. The TV connoisseur says in RTL Boulevard: “That’s exactly what those men found very annoying. They were like: this is just not fair to Sam.”

Bridget Maasland also finds it extremely clumsy of Eva. “But that is of course not useful to have two different stories out there.”

Rob: “No, indeed, so I think if Eva could do it over, she would anyway, but it’s too late for that now.”

Helen responds

The reason for Bridget and Rob to talk about Eva was a short item about Heleen van Royen. She reacted on camera for the first time yesterday in RTL Boulevard about her son’s involvement in the VI riot. “Sam works there, he just does his job and has already rectified that himself, so to speak with everyone. I know…”

She continues: “Look, to me there is no doubt that Eva said that, because when he was there he already said to me, ‘Well, well, Eva was making quite a hard joke.’ I don’t really think it’s a problem at all. When a competitor is no longer there, the other party is always happy.”

dirty riot

Luuk: “It has turned into a nasty riot, hasn’t it, Rob? It goes back and forth hard.”

Rob: “I also think that Jinek was not doing well when she was asked about it at Beau. (…) Because she said something different to the men from Today Inside than she said to Beau, it still festers a bit.”

It’s no surprise that Bridget and Rob are so fierce about Eva, because these two camps are at odds with each other. Last year, Eva called out that Bridget and Rob are delivering a mess and have completely disqualified themselves.
