Queen Elizabeth, 96, is celebrating her 70th birthday this year. The feast began as early as February, the seventh year of Elizabeth’s reign.

In just over a week, four-day festivities are set to begin, beginning on June 5 with the ringing of bells at Westminster Abbey, continuing into the military parade and the huge folk festival.

Now the Association of English Municipalities (LGA) has announced that English citizens are also planning to celebrate the Queen greatly. More than 16,000 street parties are expected to be held in Britain during Elizabeth’s Feast.

To date, the Association of Finnish Municipalities has approved more than 1,000 street party applications. County Hertfordshire, for its part, has already approved almost 500 applications.

– Councils do their best to help communities celebrate our country’s historic day, Chairman of the Association of Finnish Municipalities James Jamieson notes The Guardian.

– After two hard corona pandemics a year, we hope that this time people can lift the cup and celebrate with their loved ones and neighbors, Jamieson continues.

Parades are to be held all over England. Schools, businesses and local communities are also taking part in the celebration.

– We have had a Jubilee week, with a variety of activities and lessons focused on the Queen’s history and her life – everything from art lessons to history lessons, from Cheshire Preschool and Primary School staff Karl Landrum says.

Landrum says this is the first time something can be celebrated at school after a corona pandemic.

The celebration of Queen Elizabeth has been overshadowed by concerns about her health. Elisabet has missed several representation events over the past few weeks. Earlier this month, the British media reported that Elizabeth was completely skipping a military parade for her.
