Attention: from tonight the A12 between Zoetermeer and Gouda will be closed

Due to maintenance on the A12 motorway, the section between Zoetermeer (exit 7) and Gouda, in the direction of Utrecht, will be closed for a weekend. The work will start on Friday 27 May at 10 p.m.

The work mainly consists of repairing asphalt, the lighting and the crash barrier. In addition, Rijkswaterstaat applies markings and mowing takes place.

The following will be closed from Friday, May 27 at 10 p.m. to Monday, May 30 at 5 a.m.:

  • The A12 motorway in the direction of Utrecht, from Zoetermeer (exit 7) to the Gouwe junction;
  • entrance and exit 7 Zoetermeer (exit 7);
  • entrance and exit 8 Bleiswijk (exit 8);
  • entrance and exit 9 Zevenhuizen (exit 9);
  • entrance and exit 10 Moordrecht (exit 10).

Traffic from The Hague will be diverted via Leiden (via the A4 and N11) or via Rotterdam (via the A13 and A20).

According to Rijkswaterstaat, you should take into account 20 to 30 minutes of extra travel time.
