Becker: “Relegation was a setback”
Becker thanked the supervisory board for the trust: “Of course I’m still incredibly disappointed that our plan didn’t work out and we missed our goal for the season. This is undoubtedly a setback for the path we have taken. At the same time, I have always emphasized that I am very I enjoy working for the sports community and that I am convinced of our basic direction.”
“Reconstruction” without coach Capretti
No big surprise though: Coach Guerino Capretti’s time came to an end after a few months, twelve games without a win and relegation to the third division. The supervisory board of SG Dynamo Dresden did not trust the 40-year-old to successfully return to the 2nd Bundesliga immediately. Costs are not added to the SGD, since the contract with Capretti was only valid for the 2nd Bundesliga.
