Real Madrid fail to score in last game against Betis
Real Madrid ended their last league game in La Liga with a 0-0 draw against Real Betis. The Madrid team of coach Carlo Ancelotti, who had already secured the Spanish title, can now fully prepare for the Champions League final against Liverpool on May 28.
Both teams formed a guard of honor for each other before the start of the game in Madrid. The Madrid players honored Betis as the winner of the Copa del Rey. The team from Sevilla then congratulated the national champion.
Especially in the second half of the game, the home team was close to a goal. Karim Benzema saw several attempts go just wide. Joaquin van Betis also saw his bet pass from close by.
Real Betis had already secured a ticket to the Europa League next season.
