L1 spoke to Hollanders about his prize, his season and his future.

The ‘Rising Star of the Year’ award is awarded to the best player under 23 years of age. Hollanders is pleased with the recognition: “It sounds good, of course. I am very honored by the award.” Hollanders sees the prize not only as an encouragement for itself. “I think it’s also a great prize for the club.”

Future
After five years of BAL, Hollanders will face a new challenge next summer. He does not want to say where he is going, nor whether it is a club at home or abroad. In any case, De Kerkrade is happy with his new club: “Very happy.”
