After the capital city club seemed to have been rescued for three consecutive matchdays, relegation against Hamburger SV is still a threat. Meanwhile, personnel planning in Berlin continues unabated.
The lack of planning certainty as to which division it will be in from 2022/2023 is currently proving to be a heavy brake pad for sports director Fredi Bobic, who has still not been able to present a new head coach for the new season.
According to a recent “kicker” report, Hertha BSC’s preferred candidate is still Sandro Schwarz. According to the information from the specialist magazine “Gute Chances”, the club itself should calculate on a commitment from the ex-Mainz coach, who is working for Dinamo Moscow in Russia this season and for the runner-up championship in the Premier League next weekend plays.
A decision as to whether there will be an engagement in Berlin will only be made after the weekend and thus also after the relegation.
Magath exudes confidence at Hertha BSC
Coach Felix Magath had no doubts until the very end that the relegation finals against HSV would be successful from Herthan’s point of view.
