Crazy scenes at the title party at Jan Breydel

800 Club fans were able to get a ticket for the visitors’ section at the Bosuil, but the interest in the important match at Antwerp was much greater. The summer temperatures left many hundreds of Club fans hoping for a title party. They flocked to Jan Breydel where they could follow the match together on a big screen, at De Klokke.

In the first half the atmosphere was left there. Blauw-Zwart failed to be dangerous, Antwerp had a handful of chances and scored one of them via Frey. There were no crazy scenes in the first half.

That changed after the break. When Noa Lang quickly got a penalty after a foul by Seck, Vanaken was able to score the 1-1. The match turned in two minutes. Hendry and Adamyan not only ensured the 1-3, but also crazy scenes for Jan Breydel. Masses of smoke bombs, cheers and joy. The Club fans got what they came for. A feast to say the least.
