Ustrong motivation, logical ability, and a great desire to get involved: these are the qualities required to apply for the first Deep Cybersecurity Bootcamp organized by Talent Garden, the most important European operator in digital training, and by Yar Group, which deals with digital services for businesses. You can register until January 30th, without limitation of places. The selection will take place on February 4th, and the lessons will start online on the 28th, which will go on until June 1st. At the end, Cybersecurity course participants will be ready to start working as a junior Cybersecurity Analyst.
In fact, there is no doubt that this will be one of the professions of the future: it is estimated that starting from 2021, companies will spend 6 trillion dollars to defend themselves against cyber attacks. Only in Italy, 100,000 experts in the sector are needed. Will 14 weeks be enough for a complete training? The challenge is precisely this: to effectively provide tools, methods and soft skills to help companies respond comprehensively to attacks. Preparing technicians specialized in a sector – safety – is increasingly decisive for development. And also give a partial response to the demand for youth employment.
The course is open to everyone, young people and professionals even without IT training behind them. Indeed, candidates with a degree in Law, and lawyers, will be particularly appreciated, because one of the modules will be dedicated to the legal risks of hacker attacks and data protection systems. The degrees in Political Science, Psychology, Criminology and Economics are also good. But what matters most is having strong logic, along with enthusiasm.
Among the candidates, 25 will be selected who will receive a full scholarship to participate in the course, which will be online and face-to-face (in Rome and Milan). The Bootcamp is Deep’s first, the new line of courses that Talent Garden organizes dedicated to deep technologies, that is, the most innovative and challenging ones. The teachers will not be academics but professionals with a long experience in the sector.
For Davide Dattoli, founder and president of Talent Garden, “There is a large professional gap in IT security, which puts companies, the public administration and the entire country at risk. We have taken up this challenge, also offering young people new career opportunities ». There is a huge need for cyber security experts. Better get ready, and this is a good chance.
