On Tuesday, police raided several parts of the country in connection with a major investigation into large-scale drug trafficking and violence. Three men aged 30, 38 and 49 were arrested in four raids in Koudum, Purmerend, Meppel and Amsterdam. The police also seized a ton of cash, an expensive car and valuable watches. A fourth suspect, Ahmet G., was not found and subsequently spotted internationally by the police and the judiciary.

The National Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Prosecution Service says: “The Public Prosecution Service would consider it desirable if the lawyer turns to the Public Prosecution Service.”
