Before Asian Cup qualifiers
The Sri Lanka Football Association have announced the appointment of Andy Morrison as coach. Morrison, who has signed until the end of 2025, most recently won the Welsh Championship with Connah’s Quay.
On April 20, it was confirmed that the previous coach Amir Alagic will step down as coach and technical director at the end of June. Keith Stevens will join the new coaching staff as an assistant. Sri Lanka will meet Uzbekistan, Thailand and the Maldives in June’s Asia Cup qualifiers.
