Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko returned to Kiev with a scandal from a foreign tour. Court awaited him at home. And he was also given handcuffs, with which, however, no one dared to decorate the wrists of the ex-head of state. The prosecutor’s office suspects the politician of treason and financing of terrorism. Poroshenko has been chosen a preventive measure for several hours in a row. During such a painful procedure he even fell asleepbefore saying that the whole thing was fabricated. This is another farce, which is very expensive can cost the current head of state Vladimir Zelensky.

The ex-president was not at home for almost a month. Left immediately. as soon as law enforcement officers announced suspicion of treason. He allegedly went on a planned visit to Turkey, then to Europe. The comrades-in-arms feared that their leader would be detained upon his return right in Zhuliany. But representatives of the State Bureau of Investigation only tried to hand over the agenda after landing. In vain.
“Peter Poroshenko refused to receive procedural documents. The lawyers assured that they would receive everything, but after passing through border control they fled,” Tetyana Sapyan, press secretary of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) of Ukraine, is indignant.
Poroshenko and his associates pause at border control interpreted to their advantage.

The ex-president said from the rostrum that it was only thanks to such support that the authorities yielded and nevertheless let him into the country. Border guards immediately called Poroshenko’s statements a bluff and manipulation.
“Not a single citizen of Ukraine can be limited in the right to return to Ukraine,” the Ukrainian border service stressed.
Abandoning the agendaPoroshenko still arrived at the Pechersk court. The prosecutor’s office suspects the politician of treason and financing of terrorism. The accusation is based on the fact that, being president. Poroshenko signed an agreement on the purchase of coal from the uncontrolled Donbass. People’s Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk and businessman Serhiy Kuzyara, both now under house arrest, as well as former Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchishin, who is outside Ukraine, are also involved in the case.
