Private star journalist Jan Uriot is not surprised by the rumor that the suitcase girls from Miljoenenjacht are not allowed to talk to Linda de Mol. He was not allowed to do that himself years ago.
Linda de Mol seems to have a little more star air than she always makes out. She likes to act on television because she has remained so normal, but behind the scenes it would be very different. For example, an actor claims that he was fired after a selfie with Linda and the suitcase girls from Millions Hunt state that they are not allowed to talk to her.
Status
Linda’s manager, the strict Xenia Kasper, denies it all, but Private star journalist Jan Uriot is not surprised by the rumours. He once experienced that Xenia came running towards him like a kind of German shepherd dog, because he thought it was just a matter of addressing her.
John remembers it well. “In 2008 the first l’HOMO was presented by Linda and that was quite natural. A lot of international press was also present. That was quite a situation for me,” he says in his Telegraaf column What does Jan think?†
Toilet
The interest from the press was enormous, because Linda was still a megastar at the time. “You know how it goes with those kinds of press presentations: that magazine is presented and then Linda is expected to speak to national and international TV first, then regional television, then the radio and then you, as a newspaper, can also queuing.”
He continues: “Well, I didn’t feel like it at the time, so Linda presented that, she runs to the toilet, she comes out of the toilet and I tackle her at the toilet. I ask her: ‘How would you like it if your own son turns out to be gay?’ Then she said, “That seems unique to me.” So you would say a good question and a good answer.”

It was a nice chat with Linda, until her angry manager Xenia reprimanded him. “We had taken a picture and fifteen minutes later Xenia comes up to me and says (put on German accent, ed.): ‘Who are you? Of course you can’t just go and talk to Linda, can you? Do you understand that, yes?’ That’s how she talks, you know, so I was completely shocked.”
Jan is not angry about it. “I’ll laugh about it later, indeed, because it won’t be that bad. But I broke protocol, you know. It is often the entourage around it that makes stampei.”
