Fallen Kortrijk paratroopers commemorated in World War II

The commemoration at the Sint-Jan Cemetery was also the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the para commando units. They were founded in England in 1942.

An armed detachment of the Special Forces Group paid due tribute, including Prime Minister Alexander Decroo, Justice Minister Vincent Van Quickenborne, Defense Minister Ludivine Dedonder and the Chief of Defense Admiral Michel Hofman.
