The hours of student work performed in healthcare or education do not count towards the 475 annually permitted hours of student work. This makes it more attractive for job students to assist in those sectors.
In addition, until June of this year, it will again be possible to recruit applicants for international protection in health care or education, and employees in the two sectors will be able to suspend a career break or time credit in order to temporarily resume work.
