The weekend was started by FC Utrecht and NEC. The Utrecht team have won their first victory under the leadership of interim trainer Rick Kruys. Anastasios Douvikas scored the only goal in the home game against NEC deep in the second half: 1-0.
Sparta Rotterdam – AZ

PSV suffered an expensive loss of points in Tilburg earlier this season. Willem II surprisingly won 2-1 against the Eindhoven team, after a blunder by goalkeeper Joël Drommel.

Last season, the match between Fortuna Sittard and Feyenoord was spectacular.
