Miro Heiskanen was the only winner of the rankings when Dallas knocked down Vegas 3–2. The Finn took the puck to the knuckle and lifted it past Logan Thompson.

A win in regular time would have ensured that the Dallas season continues after the regular season. Now the team needs one more point for the playoffs from the last two games if Vegas wins their last two matches.

If Vegas loses a point to Chicago or St. Louis, the playoffs in Dallas will be secured. In his last games, Dallas will face Arizona and Anaheim.

The playoffs in Dallas would know that Heiskanen, Roope Hintz, Esa Lindell, Jani Hakanpää and Joel Kiviranta would probably be out of the Lions World Cup bundle.

Hintz, who played for a great season, scored the opening goal for Dallas. Sentter had a place to put the puck in the backpack as well, both in the regular playing time from the run and in the penalty shootout, but this time Thompson was sharper with the Vegas goal.
