Second division soccer team Fortuna Düsseldorf has had to do without central defender Jordy de Wijs in the last three games of the season. The Dutchman sustained a rib fracture in the game against Dynamo Dresden (2-2). The Rhinelanders announced this on Tuesday.
It is uncertain whether de Wijs will ever appear again for Düsseldorf. The future of the loan from English second division club Queens Park Rangers is still open.
