We’ve all tried and tried them spring combinations par excellence, but this season the mix & match ideas multiply on the catwalk, offering ideas to copy decidedly more original. The look that depopulated at the Spring Summer 2022 fashion shows and is already making its way through the street style crowd: dress and jeans. One over the other.

The layering idea is one of the least seen on the streets, but on the catwalk it is actually a great classic that returns cyclically, in ever new guises. Usually, the most popular combo from the school of minimalist designers, from Jil Sander to The Row, sees the protagonists tunic suits on men’s pantsoften chosen in ton sur ton combinations, to recreate an unusual suit.
Today the dress and jeans combo takes on new connotations, much easier to copy: the protagonists oflayered outfit become on the one hand the light slip dress characterized by thin straps – the so-called slip dress – and on the other the indigo cut classics bootcut, in the traditional navy blue color. How to wear the dress over jeans in Spring 2022
The couple chosen by the French Maison appears to be close-knit, and as often happens in the best weddings, the merit is of some perfect joints. Nothing is left to chance in the choice of this outfit, to be recreated in its entirety for a summer evening, for a weekend aperitif or in your free time. The secret is to start from‘dress with straps, which must be long, soft, slippery. L’opening with front buttons (or lo side slit, alternatively) lets you glimpse the rest of the look with elegance, enhancing the simple, high-waisted, regular-fit denim trousers. The detail of the workmanship in protection payment of the dress is perfect for after eight occasions, but the ensemble also works with the more basic satin models. The contrast of colors then plays a large part of the affinity: considering that it is a notable mix, it is better to focus on tones neutral for the dress, such as white, ivory, black, burgundy.
