Flowers, candles, flags at half mast: Ostend honors Arno

There have been candles at the Ostend town hall since this morning and there are already flowers. Starting tonight, music by Ostend’s beloved honorary citizen will be played for six days, each time at seven, eight and nine o’clock in the evening. There is also a banner with a message of condolences on the Kennedy roundabout. The documentary Charlatan will be screened for free on Sunday 8 May in Kinepolis. Ostend clearly knows that Arno has been highlighting his hometown worldwide for decades.
