For the first time since 2012, Mercedes was missing from a Formula 1 race in the decisive phase of qualifying. Lewis Hamilton and George Russell were not among the top ten at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on Friday. “We can speak of collective failure,” said an excited Hamilton, seven-time world champion.
