Peek & Cloppenburg has reopened the Vienna branch on Mariahilferstrasse. In the course of the modernization, a smaller sales area with a more compact range was created, the Düsseldorf fashion retailer announced at the beginning of April.
With the new space concept, Peek & Cloppenburg wants to “respond even better to current customer needs and offer more orientation for a unique shopping experience”.
The new space concept with 11,000 square meters offers women’s fashion on the first and second floor, men’s fashion can be found on the ground floor and third floor. The biggest change brought about by the refurbishments is a significant reduction in floor space – the fifth floor, which previously belonged to P&C’s retail space, will be rented by the property owner to a hotel concept in the future.
In addition, particularly popular brands have been expanded in terms of area. The men’s fashion label Eduard Dressler also opened a shop-in-shop concept in the Vienna branch. A new sneaker area and a selfie corner were also created. At the end of June, a café area will also open in the “Weltstadthaus”, which invites “to linger during an exciting day of shopping”.
The store on Mariahilferstrasse is one of two P&C locations in Vienna. In addition to the two points of sale, the second headquarters of the Düsseldorf fashion retailer, which is an “important location for strategic development in Austria and Eastern Europe”, is also located in the Austrian capital.
