Olympique Marseille has postponed the championship of Paris Saint-Germain in France for a while. Marseille, opponent of Feyenoord in the semifinals of the Conference League, won in its own Stade Vélodrome with difficulty from Nantes: 3-2. PSG turned the away game against Angers into a simple (0-3) win and are 15 points ahead of Marseille with five games left.
The club from Paris can finish it against Lens on Saturday in its own Parc des Princes. Georginio Wijnaldum had a basic place against Angers, Xavi Simons came in in the final phase. The stars Neymar (suspended) and Lionel Messi (injured) were missing from PSG.
Kylian Mbappé opened the score after almost half an hour with his 113th league goal for the Parisians. He equaled Zlatan Ibrahimovic and only has Edinson Cavani (138) ahead of him. Defenders Sergio Ramos and Marquinhos increased the score on behalf of PSG.
Marseille fell behind twice against Nantes, but Dimitri Payet always equalized from a penalty kick. Amine Harit gave the home team the win in the 75th minute and thus postponed the PSG championship party for a few days.
