Just a year ago, Luis Díaz moved to Munich. A Saudi Arabian club now wants to lure him away.
Is Luis Díaz packing his bags in Munich after just one year? The Colombian looks back on a successful first season with FC Bayern and has sparked interest in the Arab world.
As reported by the French sports newspaper “L’Équipe,” Al-Hilal has taken notice of Díaz. The Saudi club, which recently signed West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville for around 65 million euros, is reportedly preparing a first offer for the 29-year-old Bayern star. This offer is said to be at least 70 million euros. Interestingly, Díaz is reportedly open to the idea of a move.

Bayern Unlikely to Part Ways with Díaz
However, it seems highly unlikely that Bayern would let their winger go. According to reports, the German record champions have already made it clear that they do not wish to part with Díaz after his strong debut season. Last year, the club acquired the player from FC Liverpool for the same 70 million euros. Díaz has three years left on his contract in Munich.
Currently, Díaz is enjoying his summer vacation after the World Cup. During the tournament in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, he scored one goal and provided an assist in five matches for Colombia’s national team.
For Bayern, he made a significant impact in his first season, featuring in 51 matches and amassing 49 goal contributions (26 goals, 23 assists). Ultimately, he helped the team secure both the German championship and the DFB-Pokal.
