As a lasting memory, many festival-goers got tattoos this year at Airbeat One. Popular designs included small letters, numbers, and symbols—some for fun, others with a personal story. To learn more about the tattoo options, body parts typically avoided, and the reason behind the sobriety rule, check out our article.

Sunday at Airbeat One is all about the journey home. Many attendees already left during the night or early morning while tents and pavilions were being taken down at the campsites. At various exits, patience is required; however, traffic on the main roads flows quite smoothly. The police are present, having set up a large checkpoint overnight. While thousands leave the festival area, heaps of trash and abandoned tents remain in some camping zones.

Reflections on the Festival Atmosphere

“Can you stop whining that there’s Mallorca music at Airbeat Festival?” singer Isi Glück starts her selfie video on Instagram. She then addresses critics who claim that Schlager doesn’t belong at one of the biggest electronic music festivals in Europe. To find out what she has to say and how the audience reacts, click here.

With a spectacular fireworks display, unforgettable performances, and plenty of goosebumps moments, Airbeat One 2026 is coming to a close. The festival team thanks everyone for four days of music, emotion, and unforgettable moments. Eyes are already on the future: 2027 will feature Australia as the theme country.

Memorable Moments and Farewells

Even though the festival may be over, we’ll continue to share highlights in the live ticker, showcasing the best stories, pictures, and unique moments from Airbeat One. Stay tuned; there are more highlights awaiting you!

“Hyper Hyper,” confetti, pyrotechnics, and thousands of dancing fans: Scooter put on another mega show at the Mainstage. From the first to the last minute, the audience celebrated—and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better. A performance that no one at the festival grounds will forget anytime soon!

Community Engagement and Fun

We asked festival-goers to evaluate their outfits and others’. The categories included: ‘cute,’ ‘trendy,’ or ‘quirky.’ Watch the video for their reactions!

A special wedding day at Airbeat One: Jenny (45) and Sandy (52) from Hamburg tied the knot on Friday morning and headed straight to the festival. Instead of a grand wedding celebration, they enjoyed their day between the Mainstage and Chill-Area. “Let’s just go to the civil registry and then head to Airbeat,” says Jenny. For the newlyweds, it’s the perfect start to their marriage.

Engaging Festival Challenges and Surprises

Crazy or genius? That’s up for debate. The guys from “Team Bollowagen” took on the ultimate Dixi Challenge at Airbeat One: Ten of them squeezed into a single portable toilet. How many people can actually fit in? Apparently, more than you might think! We’re certainly fascinated.

Many DJs also love the vibes at Airbeat One. When they’re not performing or supporting fellow artists, they’re often seen wandering the grounds or campsites. DJ Duo TiefundTon shared insights in an interview. Read the full conversation here.

Electrifying atmosphere with scene stars like Boris Brejcha on Friday at Airbeat One. Party guests really kicked off during the night.

A 37-year-old Pole caused such a disturbance at the Second Stage on Saturday at around 1:40 AM that the police had to intervene and issued him a ban from the festival the next morning. Witness reports indicated that he behaved aggressively, injuring seven people in the process. Despite the attempts of bystanders and security to calm him, nothing worked.

The police arrived, took the man into custody, and he spent a night in police custody. He was so confused that he didn’t remember his name or whereabouts. The next morning, the police escorted him back to his campsite, where he had to pack and leave the venue immediately.
