Stasera on Rai 1 is on air from 9.30pm Life! The concert live from the Circus Maximus in Rome, a musical and charity event which unites artists, scientists and personalities from the world of entertainment around themes such as well-being, prevention, longevity and the fight against addictions (in the week that celebrates World Drug Day). At the helm Nek and Giorgia Cardinaletti, flanked by guests Lorella Cuccarini and Raoul Bova.The concert issues a warning to young people: Believe in Yourself, in a Life Full of Health.

The artists will be accompanied by the Nuova Orchestra Sinfonietta, directed by Maestro Leonardo De Amicis, for an evening that will try to combine entertainment and reflection. The event takes place in fact in the week dedicated to the World Day against Drugs and Addiction. The intent is to raise public awareness of youth distress and the importance of prevention. Science will also be present, represented by the Nobel Prize winners for Medicine Thomas Sudhöf and Gregg Semenza.

Nek described the appointment as a moment of sharing and lightness: «It will be a party during which we will celebrate life through music. Giorgia and I will be the glue between the stage, the musicians and the audience. The songs will speak, capable of describing our moods.”

Life! The concert is promoted by Assoconcerti, FIMI and SIAE, in collaboration with the Garda Valley ETS Foundation, with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism. Production is entrusted to the Prime Time Rai Entertainment Department and Friends TV.
The entire proceeds will be donated to the Agostino Gemelli IRCCS University Polyclinic Foundationto support research and treatment activities. An objective that confirms the solidarity vocation of the initiative, created to transform a great evening of music into a concrete opportunity for support and awareness. «Concerts don’t change the world, but they give the opportunity to connect the world», said Gianmarco Mazzi, Minister of Tourism.
