Uruguay’s goals were scored by Maximiliano Araujo in the 44th minute and 45+6. Agustin Canobbio scored in the minute.
Cape Verde’s goals came from Kevin Lenini in the 21st minute and Helio Varela in the 61st minute.
In Cape Verde, Trabzonspor’s new transfer Sidny Lopes Cabral and Iğdır FK’s Ryan Mendes started the match in the first 11, while RAMS Başakşehir’s striker Nuno da Costa entered the game in the 58th minute.
Trabzonspor’s right back Wagner Pina was on the bench but did not enter the game.
With this result, both teams increased their points in Group H to 2.
