A tractor ended up on its side on Sunday evening in a bizarre accident in Voorde, a sub-municipality of Ninove, in East Flanders. The driver of the agricultural vehicle wanted to turn left, but something went wrong. He hit a waiting vehicle, causing the tractor to land on its side.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. on Brakelsesteenwegaan, at the De Kalvaar intersection in Voorde. The tractor driver drove up from Brakel and wanted to turn towards Aspelare, but things went wrong due to a still unclear cause. The tractor collided with a waiting vehicle and ended up on its side.
One person was slightly injured in the accident, both vehicles also suffered significant damage and traffic was disrupted for a long time. The fire brigade arrived on site with several teams to clear the debris. The police made the necessary findings.
