On Saturday around 4:30 p.m., the body of a man was found by a passer-by on Rode Dreef in Marke (Kortrijk). Emergency services arrived immediately and the street was closed to all traffic for a while.
Since the circumstances of the death were considered suspicious, the court opened an investigation. A medical examiner and the forensic laboratory were appointed to determine the cause of death.
