The winner of the 65th rose inspection is the ‘SEE YOU in apricot’ from the German breeder Kordes.
Judgement
Fourteen rose growers from different countries took their chance this year, producing no fewer than 70 rose novelties and 24 rose varieties. All roses that were eligible for the title this year have not yet been on the market or have been on the market for at most five years. The roses were assessed for their suitability in (West) Flemish growing conditions and were not treated against diseases. The apricot-colored rose from Germany excelled the most in this regard.
