For many Dutch people, getting a driver’s license is a big step towards freedom. But the driving school world is changing quickly. According to entrepreneur Jan Catsburg, the fact that the ANWB will stop its franchise formula for driver training on July 1, 2026 shows how difficult it has become to stay afloat. “If you can’t keep up with innovation, then you won’t make it,” says the founder of NXXT Driving Schools.
