At the end of May, Noah Darvich from VfB Stuttgart was linked to Hertha BSC by “Bild”, but signs now point to a move to a future Bundesliga club. As the “Stuttgarter Nachrichten” and “Sky” report, there is an agreement between VfB and SV 07 Elversberg about a loan move for the 19-year-old right winger. According to the pay-TV broadcaster, a purchase option is not part of the agreement; Darvich’s commitment to the promoted team should be limited to the 2026/27 season. The medical check and the signature are planned for next week.

In the last update, left-footed Darvich became the joint most valuable player in the 3rd league with a new market value of 4 million euros. The Freiburg native played for the Swabians’ U21 team last season and impressed with strong numbers: in 29 games, the right winger scored ten goals, prepared six more goals and was voted Newcomer of the Season. However, at Champions League participant VfB, the prospect of playing time for the youngster, who trained at SC Freiburg and honed at FC Barcelona between 2023 and 2025, is manageable.
He has not been able to play in the Bundesliga to date and his contract runs until 2029. VfB’s ideas are clear: Darvich should receive regular match practice at his next club in order to further advance his development. In addition to Hertha, Werder Bremen and Bundesliga relegated VfL Wolfsburg are also said to have expressed interest or inquiries, according to “Bild”. However, the contract for Darvich goes to SV Elversberg, where the German U17 world and European champion is expected to become the third new signing after Maurice Krattenmacher (from FC Bayern) and Francis Onyeka (on loan from Bayer Leverkusen). According to Sky, the rental fee will be lower if Darvich completes many assignments for his temporary new employer.
