A large number of stars made an appearance in Chicago on Thursday at the opening of the Obama Presidential Center, a museum and library in honor of Barack Obama’s presidency. Bruce Springsteen, Bono, Stevie Wonder, Eddie Vedder, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend and Jennifer Hudson, among others, performed for the former president and his family.

Also in the audience were Tom Hanks, Christina Aguilera, Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Stephen Colbert and Conan O’Brien. Former presidents Joe Biden, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush also attended the event.

The star party is in stark contrast to many events that current President Donald Trump organizes. That’s where big names remain away en masse.
