Uzbekistan holds up well for a long time in their World Cup debut. However, Colombia still achieved a deserved victory in Mexico City.
Led by Bayern player Luis Díaz, Colombia celebrated a win against Uzbekistan in their first World Cup game. The South Americans beat the Asian “White Wolves” 3-1 at the Aztec Stadium in Mexico City. It was Uzbekistan’s first ever World Cup game.
