The Komiat group has good news. Elle Laitila

On Monday, a storm wreaked havoc on Ylänee’s Valasranta dance venue, and the Komiat band’s midsummer concert was cancelled.

Now the band tells Iltalehte that their midsummer will be saved after all.

– Traditional stage dances were arranged for Midsummer’s Day in the same region at Raisio’s legendary Huvilintu! The group sends a message to Iltalehti by e-mail.

According to the Komiat band, the Midsummer’s Day concert on the traditional dance stage in Raisio is an age-restricted event.

– There were a lot of inquiries and offers from all over the country when it was announced that it was not possible to perform in Valasranta. We wanted the event to be in the same area in an effort to pay attention to those who were coming to Valasranta.

According to the band, a replacement gig will be held at the dance venue in Valasranta later, when the venue has been repaired. According to the band, advance tickets for the Midsummer concert in Valasranta are not valid for Raisio’s concert, but you can apply for a refund according to Valasrantna’s instructions.

The Ylänee church village VPK board announced on Tuesday that due to storm damage, all events planned for the Valasranta area will be canceled and the dance season will be suspended until further notice.

According to the government, it was not yet possible to estimate when event activities can be restarted. No personal injuries were caused by the situation.
