American serial killer Rex Heuermann has been sentenced to life in prison for the so-called “Gilgo Beach killings”, reports The New York Times. Police searched for the man for years and managed to arrest him three years ago. In April, 62-year-old Heuermann admitted to killing eight women on the beach near New York.
