Private star journalist Jan Uriot has been asked to participate as a candidate in Triviant, which returns to television after a long absence, but he has refused. “I only got 750 euros.”
The famous TV game Triviant returns to television. Not with Eva Jinek as presenter, as Tina Nijkamp hoped, but with the relatively boring and colorless Anniko van Santen. So we’re going to see that one day in a studio full of people without beams in front of their eyes. But will this all work? In any case, Jan Uriot is dropping out.
Jan on holiday
Private star journalist Jan was asked to participate as a candidate, but turned it down. “It’s strange, isn’t it? I was asked for it, yes. I received a request from my manager Eline Heremans asking if I wanted to participate. It seems like a lot of fun,” he says in the podcast Strictly Private.
He wonders if he would be any good at it. “I don’t know if I’ll get far. I’m a generalist, so I know a little bit of everything, but I would have enjoyed it so much. Only: it will be recorded in July and I will be on holiday for the entire month of July.”
750 euros
Doesn’t Jan want to cancel his holiday because of this? It would make him a huge one boost in his fame. “Not for the amount they offer me for it. 750 euros per episode. No, I will not come back for that. I have booked that trip, so I am not going to do that.”
Where is he going on holiday? “That’s none of your business.”
