The men’s outfitter Braun Hamburg GmbH & Co. KG presented its newly designed online shop on Tuesday. It was developed together with the Y1 agency, which specializes in e-commerce applications.

With the launch of the new platform, the retailer is “consistently pushing forward its multichannel strategy,” according to a statement. The online store now presents itself with a “completely new visual appearance, more intuitive navigation and a stronger focus on inspiring content”. The aim was in particular to “stronger integration of content and commerce”.

CEO Lars Braun explained the motives of the traditional Hamburg company. “As a luxury menswear retailer, our aim is to be one of the leading addresses for men’s fashion in Europe – this applies to our stationary stores as well as to the online shop,” he explained in a statement. “With the relaunch, we have taken an important step towards continuing to live up to this claim and setting new standards for an excellent customer journey.”

The fashion retailer opened its first online shop in 2009. According to his own statements, he was “one of the pioneers in the luxury segment” at the time. The e-commerce platform has now been revised for the third time.
