He is probably the literary character who has undergone the greatest number of serial adaptations. Sherlock Holmes, the famous detective born from the pen of Sir Arthur Conan Doyleis available again for fans in a new version that traces its origins by depicting it in its university years: Young Sherlock.
It’s 1871 and nineteen-year-old Holmes is in prison for theft and pickpocketing crimes; his older brother Mycroft, tired of his antics, manages to get him out of prison and finds him a job as a boy at Oxford University.

Here the young Sherlock gets a sort of “baptism”, when he becomes involved in an international conspiracy that he manages to unmask.
Inspired by the stories of Andy Lane, the first to obtain the “brand” for the adaptations of Conan Doyle’s detective, the series is brilliant and pleasant, capable of mixing the taste of detective stories and detective stories with adventurethe attention to period costumes and contexts and a touch of a Bildungsroman.
For fans of the world’s most famous and beloved literary detective and his endless reproductions.
