In the Alps in the Mont Blanc massif region, seven mountain climbers died within 24 hours, according to Italian media. Two climbers died in a fatal accident on Saturday near Mont Blanc on a wall of Mont Maudit. Less than four kilometers to the southeast, rescuers have found the body of a fatal mountain climber on a glacier of Mount Brenva.
