The link between the national representativel Lilia Lemoine and the lawyer Hernán Seivane came under public scrutiny following a series of revelations that exposed a political and personal relationship characterized by trust, closeness and, later, tensions that escalated to the media. In this framework, the lawyer began to frequent legislative settings and meetings linked to the political assembly of the deputy.
In a streaming report, Lemoine herself confirmed that she offered Seivane the possibility of occupying a position within her parliamentary structure. “I can get you a place in Congress,” would have been one of the phrases that the legislator transmitted to her in private conversations. Subsequently, the libertarian leader sought to put the episode into perspective by pointing out that “many people approach with the intention of collaborating” and that her role involves evaluating profiles for different functions within Congress.
This week, on his social networks, Lemoine announced the separation of Seivane from his technical team. “Thank you Hernán for having defended me from subjects whom lawyers generally fear and for legally advising me at this last moment. Many successes in your initiative!”, the LLA leader posted on her X account sharing a tweet from the lawyer.
“I will no longer be Lilia’s lawyer, I want to dedicate myself to what I consider the mother of all battles: the campaign of Ramon Vera governor of the Province of Buenos Aires 2027″, Seivano spread, achieving a libertarian leap from the National Congress to the electoral arena in Buenos Aires territory.
The episode can be inscribed in a broader context of internal tensions and reconfiguration of spaces within the libertarian ruling party, where the construction of teams and the assignment of positions has been the subject of recurring controversies. In this scenario, the relationship between Lemoine and Seivane became a witness case of the informal dynamics that often cross politics in moments of expansion and consolidation of new forces.
Although as the weeks passed, the issue was losing centrality on the public agenda, it left the internal lines exposed in La Libertad Avanza. One more of the many gray areas that emerge in the fabric of libertarian power in these times.
