A motorist had to hand in his dogs this week during an inspection by the police and the Tax Authorities in Eindhoven. The judge had already ruled some time ago that the man was no longer allowed to keep dogs and he still had three puppies in the car. The animals have been confiscated.
During the inspection, the police and the Tax Authorities also encountered three people who were in the car without a driver’s license. Seven drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The police issued 51 fines for, among other things, technical defects and uninsured driving. The tax authorities collected more than 44,000 euros during the inspection and seized 12 vehicles.
