The three Belgian coastal patrol ships of the navy – Castor, Pollux and the brand new Vega, are being modernized. The Council of Ministers decided this, reports Minister of Defense Theo Francken. The upgrade should, among other things, enable the Navy to better protect the critical infrastructure in the North Sea.
