This concerns the thirteen Showcase Cinemas locations in the states of Massachusetts, New York, Ohio and Rhode Island. Kinepolis will own six cinemas, the others will be operated through lease agreements.
After completion of the deal, expected by the end of the summer, Kinepolis will add 164 screens to its portfolio. The thirteen complexes received approximately 4 million visitors last year and generated a turnover of more than 90 million dollars.
