The Munich leather goods specialist Etienne Aigner AG will develop its own shoe collections in the future. On Tuesday, the company announced that it would not be extending its 14-year licensing partnership with Tutzing-based Shoe.Mission International GmbH, which expires on September 30.
In the future, Aigner will “take over its own shoe collection entirely – with the highest standards of design, quality and the unmistakable brand DNA,” it said in a statement.
The first self-developed collection for the spring/summer 2027 season is scheduled to be presented this month and will be delivered from October. It includes different shoe models for men and women. “Inspired by the bag collection, the range combines characteristic elements with a modern look,” explained Aigner. The focus is “on high-quality leather and versatile color schemes”.
“Our aim was to design a line that combines timeless elegance with modern functionality,” explained Creative Director Christian Alexander Beck in a statement. “The focus is on iconic silhouettes, selected materials and a clear, contemporary interpretation of our design signature.”
