LOOK. Divers can film white sharks in the Mediterranean for the first time

In May, divers from ‘Healthy Seas’ managed to capture underwater images of a great white shark in the Mediterranean Sea. The exceptional meeting took place between Tunisia and Sicily. The animal, believed to be an adult male, was spotted many kilometers from the coast and therefore poses no immediate risk to swimmers or tourists. Yet the images are remarkable, because great white sharks are rarely sighted in the Mediterranean these days.
