Sarah Dzafce told Helsinki News having disputed the loss of his crown.

Former Miss Finland’s lawyer Kari Uoti tells Iltalehti that the matter is not pending in the district court, but other legal actions have been initiated.

– An investigation request for the incident has been prepared for the Helsinki police on March 13. It is currently pending, Uoti says by phone.

According to him, the investigation request is related to the events of December 2025, where the pageant organization deprived Dzafce of the Miss Finland crown.

– We believe that there is reason to suspect that it meets the hallmarks of a crime, and that Sarah has possibly been the target of a crime in it. We have asked the police to investigate whether it is Sunneva Sjögren guilty of defamation, treason, or other crime in the event connected with and around the time of the deprivation of the crown.

Uoti reminds that at the moment no one has committed anything. The Helsinki police confirm to Iltalehti that they have received the described investigation request.

On December 11, Dzafce had to give up her Miss Finland title because of an eye strain. At the press conference organized by the Miss Organization, the new Miss Suomi was presented from the air Tara Lehtonen while Dzafce apologized and abdicated.

Iltalehti reached out to Sarah Dzafce to comment on the investigation request.

– I will not take any further stand on this. This matter will be resolved in time, the ex-miss commented calmly on the phone.

Dzafce spoke about his well-being in a few words, and said that the filing of the investigation request has not affected him much.

– I haven’t felt bad at all. I’ve been feeling relieved the whole time, he says about his mood.
