Three medals for Italy arrived in Marina di Castagneto Carducci (Livorno).
Three silver medals for Italy at the finals of the international circuit of the fourth and final stage of the Filippi Beach Sprint Trophy in Marina di Castagneto Carducci where 345 athletes from 30 nations competed over the weekend. Great performances by Federico Ceccarino (Fiamme Gialle/CC Napoli) and Federica Cesarini (Fiamme Oro/SC Gavirate): the Azzurri, fifth at the World Cup and European Championships in 2025, only surrendered in the final to the Lithuanians Zygimantas Galisanskis and Raminta Morkunaite. Lithuania is the only one ahead of Italy in the general classification of the four stages of the Filippi Trophy (65 to 50).

Second place in the men’s singles for Lucio Fugazzotto (Fiamme Gialle/Peloro Rowing) who only surrendered to the German Franz Werner in the final. Silver also for Carlotta Savona in the women’s Under 19 singles. The Italian from CS Urania, after overcoming the Turkish Irem Ustundag in the quarterfinals and the Austrian Elena Schalk in the semifinals, lost in the final by less than a second to the Chinese Weiwei Zhu but celebrated her success in the general classification of the Filippi Trophy thanks to the 66 points collected between Mondello, Fano, Bacoli and Marina di Castagneto.
