FC Bayern will under no circumstances give up their superstar Michael Olise to the competition. Not even if Real Madrid comes knocking with a mega offer.
Bayern Munich club president Herbert Hainer sent a clear message to Florentino Perez and Real Madrid on Sunday: Michael Olise is “of course not for sale,” the 71-year-old is quoted by the “Mittelbayerische Zeitung”. This also applies in the event that the Spaniards send a mega offer of 150 million euros to Säbener Straße.
There had recently been big headlines surrounding the French superstar. According to information from Spanish and English media, club president Pérez wants to make a corresponding offer on Tuesday if he is re-elected as club boss. In that case, Olise would be the most expensive player in Real history.
Olise farewell? Hoeneß also became abundantly clear long ago
However: Pérez remained vague in his announcement and only announced that he would invest 150 million euros in signing a regular player from a Champions League club. The name Olise was not mentioned. However, the “Telegraph” and “AS”, among others, wrote that it was definitely the Bayern professional. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano also reported on it.
It is clear that Olise plays a central role in FC Bayern’s plans. Bayern’s honorary president Uli Hoeneß had recently repeatedly described the 24-year-old winger as unsaleable. “He can throw five eyes at Olise, he won’t get him,” Hoeneß said on “Sky” in May in the direction of José Mourinho, who is about to start a second term as coach of the Spanish record champions.
Olise moved from Crystal Palace to Bayern in the summer of 2024 for around 50 million euros; the contract runs until 2029 and has no exit clause. The French World Cup driver has since scored an outstanding 42 goals and 54 assists in 107 competitive games.
